The tool for your sustainability risk management
-for projects and the supply chain-
ESGEVA is a tool that allows comprehensive sustainability risk management structures to be mapped out for projects and companies.
In this context, sustainability refers to the incorporation of classical ESG aspects, i.e., Environmental, Social, and Governance aspects, into their regenerative capability. This aligns with the definition provided by the Brundtland Commission in 1987.
Utilize the ESGEVA tool for your project to achieve sustainability goals and simultaneously make a positive contribution to our environment and society.
At its core, it involves a risk assessment from project management, meaning the "magic square" of project management becomes a "pentagon". As specialists in sustainability, we address the "Sustainability” and the associated "Modeling" component. The sustainability risk assessment can be integrated into the other components of "Quality", "Schedule," and "Costs."
After the so-called "modeling," i.e., adapting to your project, relevant influencing factors are determined. Thematically, these factors arise from our management approach and the fields environmental and social compatibility. Regarding their structure, content and significance, we align with the definitions of the Global Reporting Initiative, which plays a crucial role in the non-financial reporting of major corporations.
In accordance with your requests, the influencing factors undergo a materiality analysis to securely identify sustainability aspects that have an immediate impact on your project. In a next step, the essential influencing factors are subjected to a risk assessment. If risks emerge for the project, we collaboratively establish suitable protective measures with you. The risk treatment is reviewed, adjusted if necessary, and documented in the context of project control routines.
"Projects are to be set up as an organizational form through the management approach in such a way that the thresholds of social compatibility are not undershot, and the upper limits of environmental compatibility are not exceeded."
Definition ESGEVA, 2024
With this risk management tool, you can identify sustainable aspects for your project or company, subject them to a risk assessment, and monitor them over the project duration to achieve your self-set sustainability goals.
